It echos devotion and loyalty in soft wordless lyrics that only Percy can hear, a sound he’d be loathe to share with anyone else. He doesn’t know much about it, his song, except that it’s for him and him alone, and Percy’s determined to keep it that way.

    Eddie’s being weird. Like really weird.

    Buck knows that he died. Okay? He knows. But he’s like fine now, so? He’s really not seeing what the big deal here is.

    Lately, Buck can’t do anything without someone breathing down his neck, and like he expected this from Maddie. His sister has always been slightly overprotective.

    But Eddie? Eddie is the calm and collected one. So he’s having a hard time understanding why his best friend is following him around like an attack dog.

    Following him around would be one thing because it’s Eddie, so Buck is not going to complain about constantly having him around. But there’s also the touches.

    Like today, when they were in the locker room getting ready for work (like they always do) Eddie put his hand on his lower back as he walked by. Which, okay, fine maybe Buck was in the way. But then he just kind of left it there while Buck put his things in his locker.
