Summary
Rumi deals with the fallout of the idol awards, her friends questions and her newly embraced half-demon heritage. Not all is well as she deals with nightmares and feeling closer to the underworld than she has ever felt before.
As the honmoon grows stronger, part of Rumi grows weaker. Zoey and Mira try to remain hopeful; helping their friend to deal with her waning strength, but Rumi continues to grow weaker, the nightmares keep coming and the demon kings voice echoes in her mind

“You’re dying.”Gwi-ma’s words hit her like a ton of bricks. Echoing in her mind, shed remembered what happened. Falling unconscious in the dressing room, as she had been in a rush to get ready for the fan meet and greet. She remembered her friends screams of horror when they saw her laying there on the floor covered in blood. She remembered Mira holding her while she bled begging her to stay awake, pleading with her not to leave them. Then there had been silence and nothing but the darkness surrounding her.
