Summary
Naxibis crushes the skull of the dying mindflayer under her boot as she feels its hold on her mind fade. Her tail lashes side to side in agitation as her piercing yellow eyes analyze the remains of such a beast underneath her heel. It didn't matter. This beast was dead. However, the wretched parasite that her captors forced in her brain, was not. She needs to extract it immediately.
Her magenta hair whips around her ash purple horns as her gaze pierces through the flames to the blue sky outside of the burning nautiloid. How many times has she seen that sky now? The sky of Avernus shared no such color in its imitation of this open sky. She had visited Feyrûn a few times throughout the years of her life, attending noble parties and such. Perhaps she saw this sky more often when her father still took her on adventures...
