Zhou Mingrui is a simple man with simple goals: survive his 996 job, keep the vending machine from breaking further, and ignore the fact that he might be losing his mind. But lately, his life has been hijacked by the man.
The man is everywhere. He steals Mingrui’s library book, takes his favorite cafe seat, and posts pictures of his pets—a rescue kitten and a snake. He also seems to be stalking Mingrui through dreams of golden eyes and sunlight. Zhou Mingrui is 80% sure he needs to kill the man to save his sanity—but it’s hard to commit to a murder plot when the target keeps buying you your favorite pie and looking at you like you’re the center of the universe. Really.
But he'll get there.
