Summary
The first work in this series is about the effects of Odin's madness due to his prophetic vision, his desire to use Loki as a scapegoat for his problems, and the affect that this has had on Loki's life.
It deals with Loki being banished to Midgard instead of Thor and him finding acceptance and friendship with Jane, Darcy and Erik and added romance with Tony.
It also involves Frigga realising that she has been blind to the crimes of her husband and attempting to set things right, still grieving over Odin's prophecy-induced murder of Hela, her second born.
Thor attempts to see the error of his ways and questions the decisions of his father.
And, of course, there is a lot of Loki backstory, including his kids, in which I have butchered the myths to fit them into this timeline.The second installment deals Loki and his kids learning to fit in on Midgard with Tony, who is a good father figure to the kids. There is slightly more fluff than in the first installment. Loki, Tony, Jane, Erik and the newly-recruited Bruce Banner work on building an Einstein Rosen Bridge. Meanwhile, Hydra worries that new inter-realm relations will threaten their control and they move their plans forwards... Avengers Assemble.

What if Shanks and his crew weren't just using Fooshas as a home base for that one year? What if the promise Luffy made to Shanks didn't mean they had to separate as they did? What if Shanks got to meet Ace and Sabo before they set out, before the time skip, before tragedy hit?
What if the boys’ upbringing was a bit more loving and with a lot bigger support system?

It's quiet, normally he hates the quiet, it makes him feel alone, but with Shanks it's different. With Shanks, he doesn’t feel as if he has to be loud. With Shanks, he feels like it's okay to just sit quietly sometimes. He never feels overlooked or alone with Shanks. Makino tries her best but even with her it sometimes feels like she isn’t really there with him.
That's why he always tries so hard to join the crew. That's why he always chases after the other man and his company. Luffy feels like if he could just stay with the man little longer he might never be lonely again. That horrible gnawing feeling in the back of his mind might just disappear forever.
