She will have to resort to other methods—different methods, perhaps to intimidate him, or eliminate him.
Fortunately, there did exist one method to wipe clean an angel's mind. One needed only to find the closest individual to them; a trivial matter, a little game...
Ronova takes it upon herself to employ a different curse in hopes to get rid of Mitya, permanently.

He doesn’t want Ajaw shrieking in his ear about leaving their vessel all fucked up, he doesn’t want to collapse in the middle of a commission, or be found by Kachina and be dragged all the way to the stadium, or have Ifa and Mavuika and everyone else breathe down his neck for the next week because they think he’s incapable and helpless.
But that’s exactly what happens. Because of course.
(In other words, Kinich underestimates his ability to take care of himself and ends up paying the price for it.)
