Summary
A strange, grotesque creature haunts the dreams of Xavier Thorpe. Exhausted by his odd roommate and still wounded from an intense breakup, Xavier clings to control anywhere he can.
Fresh from military boot camp, Tyler Galpin feels trapped in his life. Afraid of disappointing his father yet again and stuck in a mundane cycle of work and school, Tyler longs for something deep.
Brought together by their best friends’ relationship, Tyler and Xavier are forced into a proximity they haven’t been close to since their breakup in the spring. When their group discovers that Tyler is a Hyde, the four of them hunt for answers, while trying to avoid suspicion from Nevermore’s newest student, Wednesday Addams, and appear normal to everyone else in town.
Throughout the search, old feelings resurface, and both Tyler and Xavier are drawn to rekindling an old flame they thought they’d stomped out. Is their connection strong enough to overcome the challenges, or will it all go up in flames?
