From the moment Link woke in the Shrine of Resurrection, one thing was clear: he had a destiny to fulfill. Now, the Calamity has fallen, and the Hero has finally reunited with his beloved Goddess. But while Link has gone great lengths to recall his past lives and grapple with the Curse of Demise, Zelda has only just begun.Post-BOTW. This will be long. It would probably be helpful for you to read "When the Wind Whispers" to understand the lore I've woven behind the Champion's Ballad. Important to note a lot of this is based on the reincarnation interpretation of the LoZ timeline.
5/16/20: Having appeased Vah Naboris and Vah Ruta, and announced Zelda's return to the crowds in Castle Town, Link and Zelda now venture to Eldin to walk in Daruk's footsteps.
5/2023: I'm reinvigorated by TOTK and this will be worked on again!

“I don’t understand,” he says, and his arms are wrapped around himself now, as if he is cold. They are in Hebra, yes, but he can’t help but feel as if the cold has nothing to do with how he is beginning to shiver.
“What do you mean you don’t understand?” Revali demands, turning back to him, his glare even deeper on his face than before. “I’ve expressed myself clearly to you many times before - it is no fault of mine that you see yourself as better than I simply because of the sword on your back. Surely you cannot blame me for cutting my losses here - I’ve wasted enough time on you as it is.”
“I-I don’t understand,” Link repeats, because for once, he truly doesn’t know how it was that he didn’t please this individual. He thought he understood, before, but Revali has grown more and more upset, and Link simply does not understand what he has done wrong to cause this.
He wants to fix this.
It is the first time in his life he can ever truly remember wanting something.
It is as his vision begins to blur (he doesn't know why) that Revali’s expression shifts.

Summary
A re-telling of the botw/totk canon, with a large helping of trauma and Revalink and also just so much more lore and story than either of those stories gave us.

Summary
Gannon died, but the monsters he summoned didn’t die with him, and a gold-manned lynel decided that he would like to rule over the Sacred Land, gathering an army of monsters and Gannon cultists to his banner. After the devastation of the Calamity and the Upheaval, the remnants of Hyrule were – despite Link’s best efforts – not able to survive this new threat, and the last embers of the Queendom of Hylia were snuffed out.
In a timeline not yet doomed, King Rhoam decides to take the Royal family to the Temple of Time to pray to Hylia for guidance. He wasn’t expecting Her to respond, much less send a Hero.
Link, still adjusting to a body that isn’t ruined by guardian blasts and Malice submersion, is determined that this time, Hyrule will stand.
