Izuku hadn’t expected this to happen; even if he looks back on it, he has no idea how the situation escalated so much that it became hard to control.
Is it his fault for letting his frustration (and apparent repressed anger) slip out with just a few simple words? Yes.
Could he have handled it differently and avoided suffering a possible breakdown now? Fuck, yes.
But Izuku can’t just press a button and reset this.“They kick you, they keep you on the ground, no one cares and they never will.”
That’s the hatred we give, and he simply couldn’t keep his lips sealed.
