    So I can't die.

I was in undergrad when I finally couldn't deny it any more. I'd been hit by a car and walked it off with barely a scratch. Though, really, "can't die" was a wild oversimplification of something I still didn't fully understand.

Aka Grace remembers that he's literally indestructible at the worst possible moment. This complicates things.

Ryland Grace is not going to be one of those *crazy* time travellers. He has more sense than that. He can totally fix things and get back home and nobody will ever be the wiser. The Acting thrum would be so proud of how well he is pulling this off right now.

    or

Ryland Grace is a time traveller. He's also the world's smartest idiot. The rest of the team on the Vat is totally gonna let him fix things, but honestly, how stupid does he think they are?

    Summary

Marco pulled a crate up to the bars and sat.
"You know why I'm here," he said. "Tell me where Drummer's faction is hiding."
Holden sighed and cracked his neck, taking his time to answer. Irritation sparked in Marco’s chest.
“I can tell you the exact time and date that Sol will go supernova,” Holden said. “I can tell you how many stars there are in this galaxy, and how many of them have planets where life evolved. I can tell you how many were wiped out by the protomolecule. They kept records on that sort of thing.” He met eyes with Marco through the bars, expression empty in a way that almost seemed bored. “What I can’t tell you is what humanity’s up to.”
It's a lie; Marco is sure of it.

    OR:
Holden's contact with the station changed the way he perceives time, allowing him glimpses into the future. When the word gets out, suddenly everyone wants a piece of him. Marco takes Holden captive and brings him aboard the Pella to interrogate him. He quickly discovers that he's in over his head; the Prophet is not at all what Marco was expecting, and his knowledge has consequences.

Holden's brain is the perfect radio for the static coming out of the protomolecule. He can't tell the signal from the noise sometimes, but what he's really worried about is what it means that he can tune to it at all.
