A retelling of the Dance of the Dragons as it follows Lucerys as he tries to stop a civil war and the devastation of his family and their dragons. Turns out nothing too grand is always required to mend broken bonds and alter the course of events.
Sometimes, it is just about the simple things.
Aemond is just confused and divided as he navigates around duty to his family and salvation; and Lucerys makes sure that two of those aspects merge as one, making the threadbare string of a long lost affection toward each other re ignite.

Lucerys Velaryon has tried everything to make it obvious that he and Aemond are together. Sitting on his lap? Check. Feeding him with his own fork? Done. Changing Aemond’s contact name to My Boyfriend Who I Love Very Much? Of course. He even got a custom-made shirt that literally says, I love my boyfriend, Aemond Targaryen.
And yet somehow...everyone still thinks it’s a joke.
The final straw comes when he overhears Aegon and Helaena pitying him for his "unrequited crush." Lucerys has had enough. If blatant affection won’t convince them, maybe a scandalous kiss will.
(Aemond is just wondering how they got surrounded by so many idiots.)
