Everyone knew of All Might. Just like everyone knew of Earthbound. Even the most ignorant of fans knew that they had been partners since their debut; That where All Might went, Earthbound followed. That where Earthbound was seen, All Might was sure to appear. An inseparable team.
Then Earthbound retired and he faded from the peoples hearts along with his popularity as the years passed. 8 years later
his death shook the country. A valiant sacrifice of a beloved hero, the media proclaimed. At surface level, it was the typical story of a hero dying to protect the people. But it wasn't that simple was it?Earthbound left behind a son.

His mission can end here. There's no need to do much else except observe from a distance. In a few hours time, maybe when the sun sets, Gen could have collected enough intel to take back to his self-proclaimed leader and be on his way. There isn't much waiting for him at the empire, nothing at all really, but he has status that can sway things in his favor with a little bit of effort.
Then his target turns around to talk to someone and all of the air is knocked out of Gen's lungs.
Twin lightning strikes goad him forward.
He swallows past a lump in his throat, knowing what he has to do.
