    In which Viktor and Jayce have an inconvenient misunderstanding over a theft-that-was-not-a-theft, a stubborn rivalry of pure will and patience (or the complete lack of it), and various verbal and physical fights.

    Viktor doesn't forgive, Jayce doesn't forget.

    This, unfortunately, leads to a very tense rescue mission. But, the aforementioned rescue mission–depending on how they play their cards–could lead to a break in their conflict. Or a knife fight.

    Or both.

    Probably both.

    Viktor has an impressive collection of weapons, primarily consisting of lead bullets and a silver tongue. He also has an impressively short temper when it comes to stupidity. He's decided that Jayce is full of it.

    Of both stupidity and bullshit.

    And, no matter how many times Viktor threatens him with a blade, Jayce, for some reason beyond Viktor's understanding, won't shut up.

    Be it a knife to the throat or something else, Viktor is determined to find a way to make him.

    Featuring a violent disdain that melts into something foreign; the notorious 'only one bed' trope, but make it cowboy; and an abundance of commas, repetitive themes, and a mildly poetic chaos.
