Summary
Danny's death was something he had no choice but to think about.
Having a portal to the afterlife open on top of you at age 14, both killing you and bringing you back to life was hard to ignore. He died and came back weird, with a pounding headache and an ache in his chest.
After getting caught by his parents and getting cut open the summer before college, Danny flees to Gotham.
No idea of what or who is waiting for him there. Or what will follow him to Gotham.
Jason was 15 and running around as the second Robin. His death was on the same day that a portal in an Amity Park basement opened, killed by being beaten by the Joker and left to die in an explosion. He came back 6 months later, mindless and wrong.
Later, he'd get back his mind, but the pits still swirled in his chest.
Now the Red Hood at 19, Jason feels like something's coming, something dangerous.
The pits shift at the thought.
This can't be good.

Summary
Danny finds that maybe, just maybe, activating ghost powers in a brick-shithouse of a man with a history of violent outbursts, several axes to grind, and daddy issues was a bad idea. Now Jason's on the loose and the young ghostly hero is in over his head.

Summary
Jason Todd has a lot of baggage. It’s something he’s been trying to deal with and manage for a few years now. Yet what’s he supposed to do when a complete stranger of a kid crosses his path in a split-second encounter, and seems to inexplicably give him the answers he was never able to find on his own?
Kidnapping is the first thought that comes to mind. Dick says otherwise.

Summary
Jason isn't sure he can remember the first time he died. If he died as an infant, the one in charge of his…ability…must have had some kind of mercy, because it's impossible for an infant to kill someone. And that's the thing, Jason has died many, many times—but every time he dies, he has to kill someone. It's not deliberate, it's not even on purpose—it's to kill or go crazy.
I wanted to contribute something to Whumptober, and also wanted to write another Jason Todd longfic. This is the result.
Prompts and details will be provided in the chapter notes!
