Summary
Jimin never thought he would see Jeongguk again. They had been best friends in childhood, but distance had separated them. It was understandable that he didn’t think much about him anymore. But when the memories surfaced, he could only think of him fondly, as the sweet, younger childhood friend he always felt the need to protect. When they reunite, he tries to hold on to that idea.
Except he gets completely knocked off his feet when he sees Jeongguk in the ring. Because contrary to his expectations—and despite those adorable doe eyes—his friend has grown into a professional boxer.

Yep, it was finally here.
That time when the pack was filled with anticipation, anxiety, joy, stress… and a whole bunch of other emotions their wolves couldn’t control. Not that they wanted to; there would be courtships everywhere, and love blossoming between the most and least expected pairs.
But the Jeon pack had a peculiarity: the omegas took the first step.
As an alpha, you could spend the whole year trying to catch the attention of the one you wanted—you could give gifts, invite them out, do whatever you pleased—but once the leader gave the signal, you could only impress your desired omega in ways that didn’t resemble a courtship. Because, again, the omega decided to take the first step. And all the steps after that.
One would think that Jimin, being an omega, would be joyful in the whole affair. And yes, he would. If it weren’t for the fact that this season, his wolf had finally found itself drawn to someone: Jeon Jeongguk.

Summary
Jungkook doesn't cry when the village healer tells them the bad news.
Neither does Jimin, but Jungkook believes the alpha held back the tears for his sake
His eyes, however, are dry because he's angry. All of his tears evaporate from the raging fire inside him, demanding to come out. The omega wants to break something, burn the entire village to the ground and watch it all turn into ashes, including their house, the nursery... He can't even look at it.
It's ironic, how fleeting happiness is, how it disappears in the twinkling of an eye as if they didn't even exist, while sadness lingers, sticking to you like a leech.
