When the screen blinks to life, it takes a second for Dennis to take it in, to comprehend the scene unfolding before him: it’s undeniably Mac, but not the Mac he was expecting. This Mac is doe-eyed and serene, his long eyelashes fluttering against his high cheekbones as he sits on the edge of the bed in his too-tight t-shirt, dark blue shorts riding high up his pale, skinny thighs. He doesn't even have that god-awful shamrock tattoo yet, he realizes as Mac leans back on his elbows, tipping his head to the side as he spreads his legs for the camera. Dennis feels the heat rising in his neck as the Mac in the video looks right at him.
"Mac...h-how old are you in this?" he rasps out, throat suddenly dry.
"Twenty, maybe?”
“Twenty?”

“I’m not going to give it to you just because it means something to you, Dude. When do any of us ever give each other stuff for no reason?” Charlie clearly thinks he’s got Frank here, but Frank pauses for a moment, considering.
“Wait, now that’s not true. What about when Mac gave Dennis that rocket launcher?”
“That’s different,” Mac and Charlie both protest immediately, at the same time.
“How is it different?”
“Because Charlie’s not in love with you,” Mac says matter-of-factly.

Mac lets it slip that he used to be in love with Dennis and Dennis slowly descends into madness.
