Being accidentally sent to an unknown land much less in another world should be right up in the alley of Team 7's kind of luck.
So with them all separated however, I was more or less inclined to believe, as the person that fairly knew all of the members, that that luck should die in a ditch and never to be seen again. If that luck were to have human form the Shinobi Nations would be passing them like a kunai with an ignited explosion tag as its mere presence seem to alter one's perception of reality.*snap* *snap* "Hira, you spaced out again."

Maybe he shouldn’t have pushed one of his more volatile students quite so far while playing as Sukea. One moment, he was enjoying a final game of teasing his face before passing the Hokage hat to Naruto; the next, he was in the past, draped in oversized clothes that now felt more like a tent than an outfit.
It wasn’t ideal, but he’d survived worse. His plan was simple: step into his old life, lay low, and figure out a way back to his proper timeline, even if it was the long way. Except... it seemed he hadn’t displaced his younger self. Instead, there were two Kakashis now, and they had to adapt.
The younger Kakashi, sharp-eyed and prickly as ever, clearly wasn’t thrilled by the intrusion. But older Kakashi wasn’t too worried. Shen Jiu’s body froze instinctively as he readied himself for a blow.
But it never came, because when Shen Jiu managed to look up, all he could see was a man’s broad back swathed in black robes, his grip tight around Qiu Jianluo’s wrist.
“Qiu-gongzi, what could ever make you think that a charlatan like me wouldn’t want this boy as his disciple?”

His eyes crack open to a blurry mess of a world. Everything swims, and the pain in his head seems to have narrowed, shooting through his eye but deep and back and fuck it hurts to think. Overwhelming nausea follows.
That small voice dissolves into the quiet, choking hiccups of someone trying to hide their tears.
Her hair is bright, bubble gum pink. It hurts to look at. She looks real.

His name is Hatake Kakashi. He is a jounin of Konahagakure no Sato. He doesn’t feel like that’s true. Something is very wrong with him.
He is thirty-five years old, a university student for the second time, hardly attached to his country, let alone his town, and he was a teenager when he last properly watched Naruto. Waking up as the traumatised goofy teacher guy must be some kind of joke.
