Summary
“You know,” Logan said dryly, breaking the silence in their cramped getaway car. “We really should have just gotten take-out from the Waffle Home instead.”
Starts right before the Season 2 Finale (Episode 96) where it diverges from canon. Updates biweekly.
Everyone escapes back to the motel without getting separated, yet they’re forced to reconsider their strategy. The six teenagers need to learn how to resist the Phantoms’ corrupting influence, as well as explore their own supernatural abilities. Their enemies are many, and their potential friends are few.
To investigate the true nature of the Phantoms—and determine whether they are the only humans with access to the other dimension—the road to New York will be much longer than they first thought.
(POVs will include all six main protagonists, some of the parents, and more.)
Or; At the end of season 2 the crew doesn’t get separated, so they go on a training arc, break into military bases in the phantom dimension, plot against everyone... and find their own way through a labyrinth of bisexual confusion (very slowly).

Summary
"The blizzard’s winds whipped through the river valley, powdering Ashlyn’s hair as she watched Ben struggle with their stolen car. She leaned against the side of the driver’s door as she held the flashlight aloft for his benefit, shivering from the evening chill."
When Ashlyn, Ben and their stolen car break down in the northern mountains of Minnesota during a blizzard, all of their enemies are hot on their tails. The government manhunt exists everywhere now, and a centipede phantom has somehow been tracking their movements during the day, chasing them endlessly.
Worst of all, they still haven’t learned anything about what happened to their four other friends. Their only goal heading into the Spring is reuniting their newfound family, but it feels laughably out of reach.
The two teens accept shelter during the blizzard from an isolated old man in his cabin, yet discover the nearby abandoned church is generating some kind of safe zone in the realm. The new wintery refuge forces them to pursue a spiritual journey; one that will ensure their connection to the phantom realm will never be the same again.
