Izuku wound his arms around Tenya’s neck with a delighted smile.
“Hi.” He parroted, ducking a grin. “Are you enjoying your birthday, Tenya?”
Tenya let his forehead rest against warm skin.
“I truly am.” He replied, quiet but no less sincere for it. He couldn’t keep the smile off his own face, happiness a warm weight in his stomach.
He closed his eyes for a moment, letting the giggles and breathless conversations wash over him—from their girlfriend nearby, from the hushed half ‘Bakusquad’ at the foot of the couch, and from all their other friends being safe and happy and confident all around the room.
He didn’t have to do anything but relax, because everyone was being safe and sane and enthusiastically consensual; he could let himself be taken care of, for once.
