After being left on the roof by All Might, Izuku goes straight home. Just to find that it has been levelled by a villain fight. With Inko dead, Iukzu runs to avoid child services. Now homeless, Izuku finds a new way to pass this time, that may or may not be illegal vigilantism.

Summary
Zuko realizes his destiny much earlier. As in, as soon as he wakes up in the palace after his Agni Kai and is told he is banished. Unfortunately, he's never been a patient one. So he storms right up to Ozai and tells him what he's going to do. And gets locked up for over three years. Then, one day, he's being pulled out and told he's the new Fire Lord.
A "Zuko never meets the Gaang and suddenly becomes Fire Lord after three years of literal torture" AU. In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of the new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh constantly has a headache, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.

Summary
Lance stumbles upon a situation in which he figures that the best solution is to get in the face of a major crime boss, fight in a cage match, and be a hero for a couple of kids who need one desperately. Easy.
Except for the part where he's been forced into a week-long membership at this very hidden, potentially lethal fight club — but he can totally handle this. He refuses to be anything less than the hero these people need — and he can do that while not giving away the secret and messing up the diplomatic talks on this world. If it gets really bad, he can always call in his fellow Paladins for back-up, even if it means admitting he (maybe) screwed up.
But Lance knows he's gonna stick it out, no matter what, and moreover, he's gonna win.
