Summary
You are a professor with 5 or so years of experience in the grand Hypixel University— a big named university if you choose to brag. Your main course, also the one you take great passion in teaching, explores the history and mysteries of the ancient ruins scattered throughout the vast lands of your world.
You also happen to teach online class, and there was one student named Ze who concerns you due to his environment.

"I can fix this," Avery's word shook, he was taking a few steps back, both hands up slightly. He was hesitant, he did not know what he was doing, but all Derek knew was that Avery was just so selfless it hurts.
"I can fix this."
Derek sees one single timeline.
He's too late.

In which Derek gets out alive, losing his infinite knowledge, but at a cost. Avery, in his mind, battles against the king to take control of his mind back. His physical body is left to act as a vessel waiting for its host.
Derek must find a way to bring Avery back.

Summary
Slowly, the stream of timelines started flowing back to him. They flow back to him gently, like a newly born river joining a lake. He saw timelines where Avery cried out of happiness, other timelines where Avery shook in fear due to his overwhelming feelings— even a few where he became scared of Derek.
He decided to choose a more comforting timeline just for Avery.

He saw how his shoulders flinch when Avery yelled— then the guilt forming in his face when he must had realized that he had to force him out of the platform.
The need to protect, the way his eyes started to faintly water like Avery's.
The split moment of the gentle touch Derek had near his chest, giving Avery a different thought for just a second— before he felt his heart drop when the sudden pain from Derek's force struck.
Derek must had wanted to bring Avery home the gentle way, and Avery replayed that scene in his head over and over again.

The two are together again, and Avery needs some help calming down after the whole ordeal.
