Jeonghan wanted to stay. He desperately wanted to stay. He wanted to tell them everything— everything Daeho ever did to him, to Chan, what Chan was— but he couldn’t risk Chan’s life for the chance at happiness. Even if they accepted Chan as a human, on the very rare chance that could actually happen, they would never be able to accept him as one of them.

When Luffy finds an abandoned palace, decrepit and crumbling and cobweb infested, and declares it their newest official base? Zoro has no choice but to roll up his sleeves and get to work fixing it up into something suitable for what he truly believes will be the next King.
He started with the kitchens because his Lord is a glutton that requires near ten meals a day and somehow that job is also Zoro’s for the time being.
Zoro wouldn’t usually mind or complain about the labor. He's happy to do anything for Luffy, so cooking is not that big of a deal, or it wouldn't be if it weren’t for this pesky on-looker that only he can see and hear. -
