Day Seven of Buck and Bobby Week
“Bobby?” He chokes out again, shaky and small. “Hey, c’mon. Wake up, please. Please.”
There’s a possibility of a spinal injury, so he doesn’t want to move him too much, but he can see a growing red stain on the front of Bobby’s shirt, and a cut on his temple that no doubt matches Buck’s own. Buck dithers for a moment – he’s trained for this, he should know what to do, but his brain is moving too slowly and his thoughts are jumbled.
“Bobby?” He tries again, swallowing against the way his chest aches – not with physical pain, but just with a need for Bobby to wake up and be okay. Buck is good in a crisis, it’s literally his job, but his brain feels so scrambled that he’s desperate for the confidence and control Bobby has. He really, really wants Bobby to wake up and tell him what to do.
OR-
Buck and Bobby are in a car accident, and in the aftermath they finally acknowledge the importance they each have in the other's life.Series
