There is smoke choking the air above them. There is a three-masted galleon burning off the port side of the Polar Tang. And there is blood on their lips and faces as they laugh and laugh. It had been a harrowing afternoon full of close calls, but all Uni sees as he looks around is carefree smiles. Not for the first time in the month since he became a member of the Heart Pirates, Uni wonders if maybe he’s not the crazy one for joining this strange crew.

I began this project as a way of learning how to draw. I chose a very niche character from One Piece to focus on and have drawn him nearly every day for 2+ years now. I started this new hobby much later in life (well into middle age), and it's been a real source of delight. I hope these Penguins brighten your day as much as they do mine and that the progress as I go along gives you a few laughs.

Trafalgar Law and Monkey D. Luffy are getting married, having been engaged for two years when they (Luffy) finally decide (Luffy decides) that it's been long enough.
Twenty four days. Plenty of time to plan a wedding.
Oh also, Penguin has a crush on the electrician, Shachi definitely didn't set the hair salon on fire, Sanji is desperately pining for his husband who he's pretty sure doesn't even like him, and Kidd... Well, Kidd's pretty sure he's being stalked.
