“What are you doing?” Grian asked quietly, as Scar took Grian’s hand and placed it on his shoulder before darting back to grab the other one.
“Dancing,” Scars smile was bright, and brilliant, and his eyes were shining. He had the ability to kill Grian where he stood. “Will you dance with me?”

The bandit’s head tilted, and he smiled brightly. “You seem trustworthy. Or maybe I just have a rather strange habit of confessing my every weakness to literally any attractive guy who tries to kill me.”
Jimmy ignored the comment, lowering his Lazer slightly.
The bandit ginned, much calmer now, looking Jimmy up and down as he sauntered around him. His eyes creased at the corners, shining a brilliant copper so deep it was almost red. “You’ve definitely got some physical ability my dude. Not many people can keep up with me. And those biceps…” he whistled. “Impressive to say the least.”
Jim couldn't force down the flush. He put his gun away.
“So, what can I call you, handsome?”
Jim pushed up his hat a little, making eye contact with the being standing in front of him. “Jimmy.”
The bandit smiled a brilliant smile. “Jimmy. I like that. It suits you. You can call me Tango.”
“A dance with death…”
Jimmy didn't even realize he had spoken aloud until Tango’s smile grew impossibly wider, tilting slightly into yet another cocky smirk.
“That’s what you think of me? I like your vibe, man. Join me.”

This is extremely annoying.
Really, this is just rude. She knows that She is not as old as It, still basically an infant in comparison.
But She definitely has better manners.
Its presence is overwhelming. it feels as if someone is trying to pour water into a bucket that is already too full. She hides It beneath the large fields and towering mountains, under deep oceans and scattered islands. She puts layers of dirt and stone on top of It and then, to make sure It is sealed, She puts villages and temples too. Let there be things much more interesting than It. Let there be stuff that would satisfy the Player’s curiosity, so that He would not go deep enough to stumble upon It.
All of these are rudimentary fixes. They don’t fix the issue itself, just…Putting It away. Separating It and the Player. That’s all She can do.
She is just a Game. Which is probably why It gets to Him anyway.
