Summary
This is a message in and of itself; werewolves are always strong, but being in his human form puts him at a distinct disadvantage. If the white wolf attacks him, even injured, Martyn will lose.
This is an olive branch. Martyn allowing himself to be vulnerable in front of a stranger.

The werewolf revealing his human form in front of Scott was a gesture of peace, of trust. Scott is reluctant to believe that an alpha wolf would allow himself to be vulnerable in front of strangers, especially strangers that had trespassed into their territory. But he had- and maybe Scott had been backed into a corner, but he’d chosen to return the gesture and reveal his human form.
Peace. Trust.
Scott doesn't trust easily.
