The smell of burning skin and sizzling smoke reminds him of something. The agonizing scream that can’t seem to fade pierce through the foggy air without a break. He remembers this scene. It’s nothing new. The skin peeled away from him, his tears floating away as the fire takes care of them.
The group ran as fast as they could once they heard the news, some of them flying, all of them making it in just enough time.
Yet the humans wanted to see it through, the slashed and argued till the smell of smoke clouded their minds.
“You guys are monsters. He did NOTHING to you.”

Avid giggles, pressing Scott against the soft sheets of their bed. Their bed! His tail swishes in the air behind him. Their bed in their condo.
"Someone's excited," Scott practically purrs, a hand coming up to cup Avid's cheek. The one warped and covered in black scales. The one that marks him as something not quite a vampire.
The sort-of-demon's face heats, but he leans into his partner's hand all the same. "No..." He giggles again, grinding his hips into Scott's and wagging his tail when the vampire bites off a swear.

Still, with chronic pain from a wound in his neck and the growing threat of vampires - who are apparently real, by the way - he'll need to figure out where he stands, so that maybe, hopefully, he can make it out of this alive.

Abolish and Legundo are vampires, after however many years of immortality you would expect that to be obvious, Abolish expected that to be obvious too. The amount of problems two vampires with unresolved trauma and some badly timed human interaction can cause is really a surprise!
He was pretty sure this guy was a vampire now; but the only question in his mind was why on earth was he was eating garlic?! He'd seen vampires eat garlic as a cover story before sure, but this guy had a stench of it on him, like he had been eating it for ages. There was no way someone would do that just for a cover story, so what was this guy's problem?!
"Garlic huh? You uh? enjoy the taste or something?" Abolish didn't know what to say; he just blurted something random.
It was an uncomfortable amount of time before he answered....Should probably mention most of these tags are for LATE chapters that haven’t been made yet (we’ve done planning, they’ll be released one day…)
