Summary
A new, ongoing collection featuring intimate moments and personal reflections of the people on Fraser’s Ridge, these chapters are inspired by the open-ended final episode of the tv canon.
What happens in a marriage after death is no longer something to fear? How does bearing witness to Jamie and Claire’s resurrection touch the lives, marriages, and souls of those who fought alongside them and love them?
We begin where we all have hoped to see Jamie and Claire one day- sitting together at home, surrounded by family, with all battles behind them.

Summary
Time was never a straight line; it had always been a circle of blood, steel, and stone. When Jamie’s heart stopped at King’s Mountain, my own chest imploded in a violent, physical syncope. My beloved science failed me. My surgeon’s hands became useless before the lifeless body of the man who held half my soul.
Refusing to live in a world without him, I lay down beside him on the cold rock, embraced his rigid corpse, and surrendered myself to the winter of that night. At the very edge of consciousness, my mind sought refuge in a gentle memory of Fraser’s Ridge: our conversation about two bees that nestle together in the heart of a flower to survive the frost. I decided that stone would be our flower. I was entirely ready to fade away.
