When no achievement manages to make him feel anything, he turns to a mysterious phone service instead.
Intimate in ways that should be impossible between strangers. A man who understands exactly how to pull Shane apart without ever touching him. Who gives him structure instead of chaos. Relief instead of performance.
Shane finds himself pulled toward something he thought he buried years ago.

Summary
And there it was, clear as day. Ilya shoving his tongue into Shane’s mouth in the reflection of a background of a fucking Hayden Pike fan video.
Shane was going to talk to the team about it that first practice after. But then management had pulled him into a meeting and from the game that night. He’d spent hours defending himself and his integrity as player, as a captain, and as a person.

Summary
Once the glow of the cottage fades and the boys have to head back to the real world, they have to start the long difficult year being separated before Ilya signs with Ottawa. Or at least that was the plan, until Ilya opened his mouth and accidentally got himself traded to Montreal. But it’s fine, just one year for Ilya in Montreal and then their 10 year plan is back on track… Right?
Through their year on the same team, Ilya helps Shane come to terms with the fact that his team kinda sucks, Hayden gets chirped into oblivion but still realizes that maybe Ilya Rozanov isn’t nearly as bad of a guy as he thought, and Hollanov come to terms with a new question they didn’t expect to ask.
Now that they’ve gotten a taste of living together and being on the same team, how are they ever going to give it up?

Luca Haas looks Ilya Rozanov in the eye. Ilya Rozanov, recently appointed captain of The Ottawa Centaurs. Ilya Rozanov, who Luca has done unspeakable things to on Archive of Our Own.
He gulps. His phone is weighing heavy in his back pocket, his phone which has been logged into an Archive of Our Own account for years. An account which features some… disgustingly detailed smut about the man currently shaking his hand.
