When he approaches the figure, his suspicion is confirmed. The guy is kneeling on the ground, face buried in the bushes as he pukes again. He spits and looks to the side, black hair covering half his face. Otoya’s eyebrows rise in amusement and he creeps in closer, light footsteps barely making a sound.
When his junior finally notices him, he curses out and falls right on his backside.
‘Otoya the fuck!’ he slurs out. ‘Make some noise.’ Teal eyes glare up at him and Otoya tries so hard to keep the grin out of his face.
‘Rin, you recognise me?’
Or, one random winter night, Otoya upon his underclassman absolutely drunk.

Summary
After overusing shadow-travel to rescue injured demigods, Nico di Angelo collapses at Camp Half-Blood in dangerously poor condition. Forced into the Apollo cabin infirmary, he ends up under the care of Will Solace, who quickly realizes Nico pushed himself far past his limits.
What starts as a single sleepless night of medical monitoring slowly becomes something deeper.
As Nico recovers physically, Will begins noticing the quieter things nobody else sees: how Nico flinches from kindness, how he hides exhaustion behind sarcasm, how lonely he really is beneath the intimidating son-of-Hades reputation. Meanwhile, Nico struggles with being vulnerable around someone who radiates warmth so naturally it almost hurts to look at.
