Summary
The last thing that Sgt James Barnes remembers is falling off of a train to his inevitable death.
He wakes up strapped to a table, surrounded by dead scientists. He has long hair, a metal arm, and no clue where he is. It’s going to take every skill he’s ever learned to work his way across unfamiliar territory and, hopefully, make it back to Allied forces.
Preferably before the Soviet redhead and her team manage to catch him.

Tim’s eyes fill with tears which overflow and spill down his cheeks, stinging as they encounter the scratch Ra’s made earlier. Slowly, his gaze drops and then fixes on the elegant, bejeweled hilt of Ra’s al Ghul’s ceremonial dagger. Protruding from Tim’s chest, right over his heart.

The second Tim walked into the briefing and saw Constantine was present he knew that tonight was going to suck. And as was so often the case, he was right.
OR
Tim and the bats get captured by cultists and things go from bad to worse as Tim is chosen as the sacrifice used to summon a mysterious ghostly entity. This has consequences.

Summary
A string of missing children. Red Robin kept trying to debrief him on it - apparently there's a heap of similar cases across Gotham. All he wants is to find the kids, alive preferably. Human trafficking in the Alley was largely ignored. No one cares if a few poor vestiges of society go missing.
Red Hood cares. The Alley is his and he's made this his problem. Which is definitely a higher priority than wasting time, letting tense and uncomfortable silence fill the space between himself and his “family”.
