Summary
Jake learned early that silence meant survival. But as Jake is drawn into the Omatikaya, and into the orbit of Tsu’tey, he begins to realize that freedom is not the absence of pain, but the courage to be seen despite it. And for the first time, Jake must decide whether survival is enough, or if he is willing to risk everything to belong.
