Summary
The first thing that Tanjiro feels when he steps out from behind the cash register isn't the usual warmth of the shop — no. What he feels, is a sharp, intense glare that gets glued onto him in a mere instant.
It feels like phantom hands are wrapped around his throat; mercilessly choking whatever air is left in his lungs. The tension seems to lay all over him, effortlessly trapping him in a venomous embrace that leaves him breathless.
On a sporadic whim, Tanjiro turns on his heel, air catching in his throat when he locks eyes with scarlet ones that belong to, arguably, the most attractive person he's ever seen in his life.

Or, after the events of Demon Slayer, a weakened Muzan is able to find the human reincarnation of himself, and possesses the body of the creation after killing him. The energy in the reincarnation was enough to restore the Demon King back to full health, rendering Muzan just as strong as before.
Except, this time, there are no Demon Slayers to stop him.
And then enters Tanjiro.

“I’ll buy you pizza when we get to the tower.”
“You.” Peter’s eyes narrowed as he turned to the pizza murderer, “You have gone too far now.” He warned.
Peter landed on the man’s shoulders to make the man fall onto the roof next to his poor, soaked pizza slice. Peter webbed him up more just in case.
“I would be sorry, if it hadn’t been for the loss of my poor pizza.” Peter sniffed. “A moment of silence for our fallen hero.” He said as he stood on top of Iron Man’s back, a fist to his chest in respect. “Gone but never forgotten. Always in our hearts. May you rest in peace, sweet, sweet pizza slice.”
