Summary
This story follows Owain trying to protect his kingdom members, which includes keeping them from finding out about the price he pays for them. (Also, Nom lives! -but at a cost. That's what started this idea anyway.)
Everything is written platonically, but technically, I can't stop you from reading it any other way. I'll also add relationships/characters if I actually add more chapters (it's a gamble.)

Summary
Oakhurst was a quaint little town, only a handful of residents compared to the constantly busy and moving city life he used to have back at the Capital. He preferred this, it took a while to get used to, but he did rather enjoy the uneventful life of a small town.
Sure, it wasn’t without its oddities, and every small town such as Oakhurst had its own legends and generational folklore. Legundo, though, much preferred to stay grounded in the realities of Oakhurst.
He’d stick to what he can see and feel rather than made up fantasies.

Summary
Martyn finds a holy word right before the house judging contest. After, he tests it out and it backfires on the villagers.
Scott is just minding his business then Martyn catches him with an unknown holy word and now he's running around Oakhurst acting like a feral animal, except his sire instincts are making him broody and the holy word only exacerbates it.

She decides to take him in until he's ready to go off on his own and find this 'Drift,' 'Shelby,' and this strangely familiar name, 'Scott.'
Well... that was the plan.
