Summary
That’s why when he yelled at him at the top of the mountain, it felt like a final straw. Maybe the jabs here and there hurt more than he originally thought. Maybe it was the fact that he had fallen in love with the heartless, beautiful, deadly, and mysterious witch. Maybe it wasn’t the fact that he fell in love with practically a stranger. Maybe it was the fact Geralt fell in love with someone other than him.

Summary
Really, this was just marvellous! He hadn't even been looking for trouble! Barely two weeks without Geralt, and already he was in mortal peril!
Jaskier leaves Geralt on the mountain, and almost instantly gets sucked into trouble, (through no fault of his own, he might add!) An encounter with a sorcerer leaves him temporarily stuck in a form he'd never really liked, and the whole godsdamned affair leaves him careering back into Geralt's life again.
Which is ideal, really.
Or, Geralt finds a wolf, and then he finds his bard again. It takes him a long time to work out the connection.

Summary
Jaskier lived a long life, a life full of purpose and adventure. It was a good life, but even good lives end. Geralt took care of Jaskier until the bard breathed his last.
The grief this death caused was unlike any Geralt had felt before. It was so all-consuming that the witcher wasn't sure how to carry on.Jaskier woke up miraculously alive and without any signs of old age. Also, he was in a burning building for some reason! And, why did he suddenly have WINGS?!?
