Summary
Remus Lupin started his first year at Hogwarts a nervous child, certain he would not make friends. He left his seventh year a young man with the best friends he could have ever asked for.
In the years after Hogwarts, he was a soldier in war. In the years after the war, he no longer knew the boy he had been at school.
When Remus returned to Hogwarts, he was a teacher. The very last time he went to Hogwarts, he died there.
Seven years of prank planning and mischief, three years of war, twelve years of grief, and five years of trying to put it all right. In the end, all that he could do was make it all count.
