Summary
A foster child from the age of five, Rey Johnson has made her own way in the world. Bullied in high school, she now finds herself building some rather unique skills in the dark world of car theft.
Ben Solo has also made something of himself, running his own restaurant. He's battled his past where he was part of an unsavory gang of bullies in high school.
His success has allowed him to purchase his dream car, a custom built TIE Silencer.

Summary
This is the original Connection. The WIP revised Connection is just that, a WIP. I apologize for the many mistakes and bad grammar. Hopefully one day, the revised version will correct all of that.
I wrote this in March 2020 just for myself. I'd never written anything in my life. I've never had a movie get to me, break my heart, like TROS did. I cried so hard. I actually did not like Kylo during TFA/TLJ. Then at the beginning of TROS, something changed. By the Kef Bir scene, I was full on Reylo. Better late than never, I guess. I didn't know about fanfic. I didn't know about AO3.
For days, I could not stop thinking about the movie. Ben dying was an atrocity. So, I simply wrote two sentences. The first two you will read. Then a day later, the first paragraph. Then it all came tumbling out as I furiously typed into my phone while sitting in a parking lot. It was cathartic. My BF asked me what was wrong. For days I had been so sad. I finally had to tell her. She then discovered Wattpad& talked me into posting it.
To me, this is what they deserved. I also wrote a sequel, Conquer.

On a fieldtrip to a local theater, she taps famous director Ben Solo, who reluctantly agrees to help out--for the kids. This is before he knows just how terrible the homemade play is.
