“Well, uh, thanks,” Optimus said after a moment, a little dismally. It was kind of flattering, he guessed, only now a small scared part of him was wishing pretty fervently that Megatron had picked him up and tossed him over his massive shoulder and carted him off over his loud protests.
Megatron himself sighed. Then he said, “An hour yet remains. It would give me pleasure to have you once before we go, if you were willing.”
“To have me what?” Optimus said, confused.
Megatron pushed up on his elbow again and frowned at him. “To have you. I would taste your spark at least this once, when it seems likely there will be no other opportunity.”

“Overlord. What do you think I’m here for?” That pulls surprise from the man, giving Tarn the pause to sit forward. Gentle as he can he trails the clawed tips down the other’s cheek. Tripping over the angular nose and parted lips where he lingers. Applying a fraction of pressure until the flesh gave, but did not bleed all while Overlord struggled to speak.
“Primus I hope it’s sensitivity training.”

Megatron looked around the tunnel, as a show. He didn’t need to, the ancient awareness of walls around him, of clearance and load, had never left him from the mines. It was a show, for Drift’s benefit, an opening he knew the other wouldn’t exploit. “I’ve had worse kingdoms,” he said, mildly, before he let his gaze drop down onto Drift, like a judgment. “And better soldiers.”
