Cody smiled.
Rex knew that smile. It was the same smile that appeared on his own face every time he heard a young girl’s voice or caught a whiff of metal and oil. It was the same smile that graced Bly’s own face after every one of his breakups. It was the same smile on so many of his siblings’ faces as they all realized that something was missing.
The war was over. Palpatine was exposed as the mastermind and killed. The Clone Rights Bill was passed. The Clones are free to do whatever they want. So why can't most of the clones settle? Why does something feel wrong. Why does something feel missing ?

Summary
Names are important to the clones. Their names are the only thing that belonged to them. The one thing that got to choose for themselves. For each other.
So it is no surprise that they keep their names close to their heart, hiding it behind a series of number.
Names are important to the clones.
Too bad they don’t realize Names are everything to the Jedi.
Aka five times CC-2224 didn’t tell Kenobi his name plus the one time Cody gave his Name to Obi-Wan.

Summary
He should really inform the clones that Jedi have more sensitive hearing when they’re using the force. It would help them protect their secrets. He should inform them a lot about the Jedi actually. Maybe it’ll help them trust him more.
He didn’t begrudge them their caution however. These men had nothing. No one but each other to rely on. It’s only fair they would not trust him. It would take time and he was willing to wait for eternity.
Obi-Wan hissed as his hand touched his bare chest and the bleeding cut that spanned the entire width of his upper chest.
The real question was whether he could survive the festering wounds the Clones unknowingly left on him before that eternity or die trying.
The Jedi were known as empaths. To the rest of the galaxy, that just meant they could sense others feelings. However, the Jedi knew differently.
To be a Jedi was to experience other’s affections as paint strokes on their skin. To feel their hatred as bleeding cuts and wounds that are slow to heal.
And the Jedi were determined to keep it a secret from their Clones.

“Yes, Cody?”
Cody gestured towards the empty space that Obi-Wan was looking at. “Is this a force thing? Are you talking to a Force Ghost or something?”
“I was not talking to anybody at all Cody. I just remembered something ridiculous that Anakin did and could not help but roll my eyes at his past antics. And don’t be ridiculous my dear, Force Ghosts don’t exist. Or at least I do not believe they do. Maybe I should do some research on that. I mean with all the things that the Force can not, there is a not zero percent probability that Force Ghosts do exist. Wouldn’t that be something amazing Cody? Imagine me walking up to Mace and telling him that his Great Grand Master has been watching him this entire time.”
In which Obi-Wan can't seem to stop talking to himself and Cody is concerned until he's not. Then he's still concerned but for a much different reasons. Can these Jedi please stop getting any weirder? And you're telling him it's not actually weird Force-Osik this time??

Summary
Much like anything else in his life, waking up beaten and battered in a world not his own had not been his choice. A staggering experience, certainly, especially considering he had not expected to wake up in the first place. But there is something to be said about new beginnings, be they intended or accidental, especially when there was no world for him to be going back to.
Peace was a faraway dream for Kurosaki Ichigo. But Pirates, running rampant on seas not his own, were famously known as dreamers, letting very little get in the way of stopping them. In a world as colourful as bizzare as this one seemed to be, what other choice was there but to get swept away with the madness, and learn to find himself along the way once more?
And if he finds people along the way willing to take him into their fold? Well then perhaps he would find people he could protect; and this time, he would keep them alive.

Cody grits his teeth, trying to swallow his anger. It wasn’t the kid’s fault. He didn’t know any better.
“He shouldn’t have that,” Cody says coarsely, ignoring the way it pains his chest to watch the boy’s face fall. “It doesn’t belong to him.”
“My uncle is not a thief,” The boy contests, crossing his arms tightly across his chest. “Maybe you’re the thief!”
Cody sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, kid.”
“My name is Luke,” He says firmly, dropping his arms to his side and straightening his back. Cody looks back up to make eye contact with him, surprised by the fiery determination in his little eyes. “And for your information, we Kenobis are honorable men. We certainly do not steal.”

Seven years after the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Cody is still unable to forgive himself for the actions he committed while under the influence of his inhibitor chip. When he stumbles across a small boy with a not-so-small problem, he decides it's time for him to finally right his wrongs.
