This 'Void' is a place of madness and unmaking, where time is non-linear and the physical laws of reality are replaced by shifting sands and dying galaxies. Sirius remains unnaturally lucid, his mind preserved only by a sliver of the 'Black Madness' and a singular, desperate anchor: the memory of his goddaughter, Ianthe Potter.
As Sirius wanders the abyss, he is joined by Death. Death reveals that the 'Last Peverell' has inadvertently skewed the balance of reality through sacrifice, and her prophesied enemy is evading his end. To restore balance, Death offers Sirius a return to the living world, but at a steep cost.
