Eito extends a hand. “Eito Aotsuki,” he says pleasantly, with a perfect smile. “Pleased to make your acquaintance.”
Eito is not a normal person by any stretch of the imagination.
Still, when a chance at normalcy appears- who would he be if he didn't take it, and ignore anything out of the ordinary that occurs along the way?

Eito ruined everything. He killed Sirei, he killed Hiruko, he caused their plan to fall apart. He tried to kill all of them, Takumi went back in time to fix his future, in order to do that he needed to get rid of him.
After he kills Eito, his nights are endlessly swarmed with Eito’s visage, taunting, cruel, haunting, destructive. Takumi won’t let him win, he won’t let him get the satisfaction of having him doubt. Takumi wouldn’t regret his decision, he couldn’t.
It was his future and his Hell to endure.

“Takumi,” Eito began, and then stopped. It was an unusual sight, seeing him so…vulnerable. Vulnerability didn’t really match the person Eito was in Takumi’s head—smart, cheery to a sometimes cloyingly saccharine degree, assertive, calculating, often ruthless—but it wasn’t like Eito was some kind of machine built to kill people. He was just as human as Takumi was, and thus, just as capable of being vulnerable. That was the point he was trying to make. “Do you really think it’s possible for me to stop seeing you as a monster?”
