Summary
This is the journey of my WoL, a green-haired Wildwood elezen named Vallerin Iseterre through the traumatic landscape of FFIVX, and his loves along the way. Future spinoffs are planned, though this tale will end in Stormblood.
The Bard job really came alive for him when he began insisting on playing contemporary music, so you'll find songs sprinkled throughout (Green Day and MCR are a couple of my favorites, so they're over-represented.)
This is my first FFIVX fanfic after a VERY long hiatus from writing. Hope you enjoy!

Summary
(Spoilers for post-Heavensward 3.3)
This fic is an excerpt out of a larger work, "Heart of the Song." It's an Aymeric/Estinien flashback scene, the only one in the larger work which is mainly WoL-centered and focused on Haurchefant and Urianger, so I thought it might be good to offer this as a standalone for those who just want a quick and juicy Estimeric fic.
Vallerin is my WoL; I've left his name in although it really doesn't matter for this piece.
No Wyrm!Estinien here, as the main part takes place long before he was even the Azure Dragoon, but I might be tempted some time to attempt that. I find it a fascinating idea.
