    i love the way jasons goons are written in this LMAOOO
    and on a slightly more serious note the parallels between bruce and jasons mom in this fic are really good! jasons internal monologue is 30% denial, 30% anxiety, another 30% of lying to himself and 10% actual crime lord and its an entertaining read :D

    Jason’s finger twitches on the trigger. His face responds like he’s the one at gunpoint. 

    “Who the fuck are you?” He demands.

    Clark sighs. 

    “Well I told you, I’m Superman,” he says, “but if it rings any bells, they used to call me Superboy-Prime.”

    The result is instant. Jason’s eyes shoot open and his finger presses to fire. Clark is in front of him before he’s finished. He pulls the gun out of Jason’s grip by the barrel, faces inches apart as he cranes his neck down to make them even.
