    Wonder? Grian looked back at Mumbo, and sure it was. His eyes were wide, not with fear, but with wonder. Amazement even.

    "Grian, are you like me?" Mumbo says as he went and held his shoulders, something like hope in his voice.

    "What."

    OR Grian has a panic attack because he doesn't like his watcher form and Mumbo has a different take away than that

    The first time it happened, Xisuma had been re-sorting some of his shulker boxes. He’d been in the middle of carrying a few of them across his storage room when he heard it.

    “I- don’t know if anyone can hear me, but I need help!” A frantic, twenty-something sounding voice spoke from within X’s head.

    X jolted at the sudden noise, the boxes he was carrying tumbling from his hands. For a moment, he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do. It had been… decades since someone had recognised him as a god, and even longer since someone had prayed to him.

    AKA- 5 times Xisuma helped Grian without revealing his identity, and one time he actually told Grian who he was.
