Summary
Set after Buck and Eddie's confrontation at the station in 8x09, Bobby takes Eddie aside to help him work through his emotions about Buck's reactions.
This fic in no way places the blame on either Buck or Eddie for their spat, but I had this conversation in my head and couldn't let it go. Because Buck cops a lot of shit about his very valid emotions, and Eddie doesn't often understand, because both of our boys are oblivious and we love them for it and get frustrated by them in equal measure. Sometimes they both just need a helping hand.

Summary
Buck asks, "Where is your dad?"
"He's downstairs buying sodas," Christopher replies. He sits down next to Buck and points at the magazine. "Why are you reading Bridal Guide?"
"Oh." Buck flushes a little. It's not like he can explain: I realized I'm in love with your dad and keep accidentally planning a wedding we're never going to have. "It was this or Golf Digest."

Summary
"What are you up to?"
Buck leans in and kisses him soundly, thumb stroking over the nape of Eddie's neck. "Nothing."
"Buck…" Eddie warns.
"Nothing, I swear!" He laughs, "Just wanted to do something nice for you. Is that a crime?"
Eddie squints at him wordlessly. He's up to something. He's definitely up to something.
Eddie supposes he's going to find out soon enough.

Summary
Everyone knows that when you touch someone who's going to be important to you for the first time, you'll leave a mark on them. It's not just romantic love; parents and children, siblings, close friends all share marks too. At least, they do in theory. Maddie's the only person who's ever touched Buck and left anything behind.
.
It’s funny, growing up knowing your parents don’t care about you. The kind of funny that would get Evan uninvited from sleepovers, which is why he always changes into his pajamas in the bathroom. The kind of funny that he’s not allowed to ask his parents about. The kind of funny that makes Maddie look at him so sadly sometimes, when she doesn’t realize he can see her out of the corners of his eyes.- Language:

Summary
Eds,
So I might’ve accidentally joined the Parent Council? They asked for volunteers and somehow everyone stepped back except me? I think I got tricked. And suddenly I’m in a group chat with twelve mothers, a dad named Rick who has no spine, and a principal who types like she’s angry at the keyboard.
Anyway, the moms are insane. They keep flirting with me. FLIRTING.
I kept saying “I’m married,” and they kept going “oh that’s sweet, but we’ve never seen your wife.” YOUR WIFE???
Babe. I think this is bisexual erasure?? I’m being erased. I’m being doubted in my own bisexual existence.
Do you know how insulting it is to have your very real, very hot husband dismissed because they’ve never seen him? I’m offended on behalf of our marriage. You need to come home before I have to bring Christopher as a witness.
Miss you. A lot.
—B.
Ps. Chris is fine. He got an A+ for the science project.

Summary
[When Eddie leaves it’s not grandiose or dramatic. Eddie hugs him and Buck hugs him back, of course.
He hides his face in the curve of Eddie’s neck and breathes in the scent of him, of pinewood and soap.
Eddie’s fingers dig in his back, and he prays they might leave marks behind, scratch Eddie’s signature right into his skin, prays they might leave bruises on his very bones, let him keep Eddie right here, in his arms, forever.
But eventually, gone as all good things do, Eddie pulls back. He smiles, and his eyes are a storm, warm honey clouded with lightning and thunder, and the only thing Buck can do is smile back. He’s never been good at goodbyes, he should be used to them. He isn’t.
And then, just like that, Eddie’s gone, taking with him half of Buck’s heart and all the oxygen in his lungs.]OR Eddie leaves, and Buck sinks and sinks and then, eventually, he remembers how to swim
