this base off of ramshackledtrickster's Venom Miguel au.
Put a spin Miguel's origin story that during the whole fixing His DNA back to normal the scientist that sabotage the processes not only put spider DNA but an unknown DNA that turns out to be one Venom’s great grand children.
But this part lay dormant in him for many years till the whole multi-universe
It woke up the moment that the universe that he replace collapsed and the loss of his daughter. It didn’t take over fully, but Miguel realized there was something very dangerous in him, so he had to take a serum to keep it under control.
But since the symbiote is feeding off his self-loathing and insecurities and failures. It only getting stronger.
The final straw was when Miles wouldn’t listen on the whole ‘canon event’ and Dad need the die thing. Miles escapes to Earth- 42 and Miguel finally snapped and fuses with the symbiote now call it Rapture
