One year has passed since Ojo's defeat at the hands of a leather-clad, spider-themed hero, and her name has only gotten bigger around Lübeck.
Working her way through college with the help of her parents and the undying support of her best friend, Mandy, Ilse Schüler must find the correct balance between being a hero and being a person. She's not very good at it, until along comes a slithering second-skin of alien flesh, which binds itself to her in the night and makes her the best version of herself she could be. Gone are her brittle bones, gone is her filter; she is herself, loud and proud, except better.
Where is too far, though? When does pride become arrogance, and where does arrogance become megalomania?
Can Ilse get a hold of herself before she does something she'll regret? What happens when she tells her alien symbiote no? What do the people of her city, who respect her so, think of her after she goes on a tear of brutal violence in the night?

But they couldn’t just storm in and start forcing people to bond with hive, they’d have be sneaky, subtle, build up bases and choose smart targets and seduce and break their minds into the hive with the greatest pleasures they’ll ever feel, so much so they’ll want nothing more than to serve their new King.
And well having a harem of super-powered men practically worshipping them is too much to resist.

Peter Parker's really going through the ringer, and that's saying something, considering his usual life experience.
For one, he's realized that he's actually a trans woman, through some VERY heavy trials and tribulations, chief among them being the fact that she's been influenced by an ALIEN PARASITE for the past few weeks, and it's because of this alien she realized she's trans, so it's kind of a mixed bag on it.
For two, her and Aunt May's house is at risk of being sold off to someone if they keep missing the bill payment times, which is just WONDERFUL, considering it's basically become her childhood home and has memories of Uncle Ben with it.
And for three, on account of that damn alien parasite, her relationship with her friends has rapidly deteriorated. While out patrolling, she found a church bell and headed over, hoping to get some peace from all this alien nonsense, since she's noticed it DOES NOT like large amounts of sound.
