After 4 years of solo superheroing, Peter encounters a new superhero going by the name Black Cat. Following a fight from which he saved her from a bad outcome, the two talk and form a tentative partnership where Black Cat gets to learn from Spider-Man. But both agree to keep their identities a secret for the time being as they get to know each other, with the possibility of changing that in the future.
