Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

Summary
Lady Ningguang of the country of Liyue, a royal of the Jade Chamber Palace that oversees the entire region, has extended an invitation to all neighboring countries of Teyvat. A ball held for three days as a celebration of the seven Archon deities, where a rumored treasure is to be displayed.
Kaeya Alberich, a spy for the Fatui organization, is tasked by his master, Lord Pierro, to attend Lady Ningguang's three-day ball to investigate this treasure. While attending the ball for his mission, Kaeya meets a mysterious man by the name of Zhongli who had asked him for a dance. A fairy-tale-story romantic, Kaeya accepts his offer, helplessly falling in love with this stranger whom he had just met. Kaeya's allegiance lies with Lord Pierro and the Fatui, but his heart wavers in the wake of love. His mission now complicated by his own personal desires surfacing, Kaeya must choose between loyalty and love within a time limit, with betrayal on either side terrifyingly inevitable.
