Summary
In the wake of the intense battle, Hopper’s post-Russian resurrection, the Byers' move back to Hawkins, and the group’s gradual recovery, the party decided to have bi-weekly movie nights at either the Byers or the Harrington residence. After the first month of the kids and Eddie arguing over what movie to watch, Steve had decided he had enough, and they started to rotate whose choice of movie they would watch.
On May 31st 1986, it just so happens to be one Dustin Henderson's turn to pick. The day of, Dusin spends his morning looking through his own tapes and in the process, discovers a banged up and unlabeled black tape. His natural curiosity moves him to pick this as his movie selection as neither he nor his mother can remember what exactly is on this tape.Little does he know, this decision will lead to hidden truths being revealed and a complete destruction of how he views one of the most important people in his life.

Or in other words, the party watches The Black Phone and Steve Harrington must confront his true self and his past. Also includes integration of how and why this tape exists into the overall world of Stranger Things.

"i'm not upset, shouto-kun," he laughed gently. he placed a hand on shouto's shoulder. it was warm, so warm that its heat sunk through the cotton fabric and raised a few goosebumps on his skin. "you don't have to apologize. you know, boyfriends usually share each other's clothes. it's not like, um, unusual or anything."
"do they?" shouto muttered distractedly. izuku's eyes were especially pretty up close and his eyelashes were so curly. "interesting."
izuku's smile broadened, and shouto was instantly winded by the sight of it.
"i think you look cute." he said, almost whispered, like he was sharing a secret.
"do i? i didn't know i was cute."
"you're always cute, but you're especially cute right now. you look so tiny."
"almost as tiny as you?"
izuku huffed. "hush, you."
or, in which shouto likes to feel soft, likes to be held and kissed and reminded that he’s not just his father’s toy soldier, but a person, worthy of love. and class 1a is more than happy to support him as he explores his own identity and preferences. however they never accounted for just how adorable shouto could be and just how badly it would torment them all.

Summary
“You know,” Sero says, working the cream over his bruises firmly but also gently, careful not to hurt him more than is unavoidable. “When you get hurt, you’re allowed to ask for help.”
And it was so simple, patient and clear like he was teaching a life lesson to a kindergarten class. Like Shouto had lost his favorite toy and didn’t want to ask for help to find it. Surely Sero didn’t know what he might be referring to, with his ‘hurt’ and his ‘help’. Surely he didn’t know just from seeing bruises on his back what had happened.
He ached to tell Sero that it wasn’t that simple, that the problems in his life were more complicated than his classmate could dream. He wanted to hurl it like knives, scream in the kind boy’s face about how he’ll never understand, about how no one would ever be able to help him, about how he will always be alone with this misery.
Shouto reflects, and makes a big decision.
